The Navigator is a highly reliable, vandal resistant Accessible Pedestrian Signal (APS) that provides a vibro-tactile ADA compliant 2" push button with a raised directional arrow and audible sounds during all pedestrian cycles. Sounds are emitted out from behind the unit via a recessed weatherproof speaker. A custom voice-on-location message can be provided with an extended push of the button. The message typically gives information about the intersection and street being crossed.
The BullDog is a pressure activated, virtually non-moving push button designed so that it cannot be jammed, cannot be super glued shut, and cannot be made to stick on. It is resistant to flame and ice, and it can withstand severe impacts from baseball bats, hockey sticks, skate boards and hammers. Because the button is non-moving, when pressed it provides both a two tone audible beep and visible momentary or latched LED light to notify the user the switch was activated. It only takes 1-3 lbs. of force to activate so small children, the elderly with arthritis, the physically impaired, and all pedestrians can easily activate it.
Our Moving Push Buttons are a 2" style ADA compliant button that has a longer life than typical micro switches and is resistant to vandalism. The buttons use a solid state piezo switch that is protected against moisture, has a rated life in the tens of millions of activation (100 million minimum) and is extremely reliable. Most importantly our switches "time out" so they cannot be made to "stick on".
The Rees style and Oval Bulldogs are a modified version of the standard Bulldog which will mount into an H-Frame and Oval type push button stations that are common in some states.
